MORTEN SAYS... HELLO

19th January 2002

Hello my good friends.

This morning I went out to buy the new Ivar Medaas collection CD. It was a huge success. I had to get a CD walkman as well, so I can listen to him while I'm walking the dog. He really has a great voice and a great sense of melody and humour. A man of the people, you could say.

Sorry I haven't been around for a while, but I've been reeeeeally busy, because of the tour coming up, and all.

Børge with asparagus up his nose!
Here's that Børge again. He's got asparagus up his nose,
because he wanted to do it first so he can help
other people who want to do the same.

It's going to be a heavy tour, and I want to thank you for buying tickets and coming to the shows. I can't wait to show you my new moves.

Yesterday I went to the vinyl store again and got me some T.Rex, The mamas and the papas, John Lennon's Mind Games (not very good, that one), Stevie Wonder, Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan's John Westley Harding, Cardiff Rose by Roger Mc Guinn and some other stuff that, after listening through it, I am too embarressed to mention. But you got to try. I tried to talk Børge into buying Wings "at the speed of sound", but I didn't succeed. Sometimes it's hard to be a man.

Have you heard At The Drive In "Relationship of command"? No? Well, it's a very good album and you should run out and buy it if you can.

Have you heard that I won the local sandwich competition the other day with my own composition? All I got was a free meal at a restaurant, but it was still worth it. I probably get that sandwich named after me, which is great because I would like to be remembered. Allright, here we go then:

  • A slice of rye bread
  • Spread on it some Dijon mustard
  • And then peanut-butter (not too crunchy)
  • and then..some pickled gherkins.

last year I was no. six with these two fellas...

It might not sound like something you would like to eat, but you should really give it a go.

The explanation of the universe. Not only is there now matter, which is us and everything we see (stars and everything), antimatter, which is something we believe is there but what we can not see..but now also a power which keeps the universe expanding forever (and not just until gravity starts pulling it back), and that is something called the vacuum power.

The Vacuum power, or the dark matter, is particles unknown, that has a force that we don't know of. What we do know is that it has the force to push everything outwards. In space, and time.

Stay alert!

Morten
