MORTEN SAYS... HELLO

The Poleis make an arrest

I bet you're dying to hear about my Amazon trip and I'm dying to tell you about it. I was really close to dying too, attacked by aggressive mosquitoes and spiders, the size of your toe nail up to the size of a football.

But, first I've got to tell you what happened last week when we were playing around in the studio in Oslo under the supervision of the great Johnny Skalleberg.

...enjoying a well earned break.
The band enjoying a well earned break. This was just before we felt hunger and thirst from working long hours into the night.

Børge and Johnny went out to get a take away, but ended up being arrested by the poleis. For nothing but behaving erratically and speaking in code. When Hans Petter and I heard the news, we ran off to the poleis station to see if we could help sort out this silly misunderstanding, as we thought it was. We also thought it would be a good idea to take some coffee, to buy us some time.

This is a hidden camera picture I took of the prison yard
as we arrived, hoping to see our arrested friends.

"Hi Børge". We caught up with them just as they
were entering the highly securitised gate

Behind bars
Johnny still think it's a joke

"Hi guys, we brought some coffee".
"Hi guys, we've brought some coffee"

HP drinks most of the coffee.
Børge realises the seriousness of the situation
while HP drinks most of the coffee.

Thanks for the coffee
"Goodbye my friend and thanks for the coffee"

Would you mind watering my plants?
"Would you mind watering my plants?"

Laughs are few and far between
They laugh at Børge's joke, mainly because they know
laughs are few and far between behind bars.

That's what happened. You may ask yourself: don't the poleis have more important matters to deal with? Don't they know that musicians are innocent as children, peaceful and clean as new born babies, who could harm no one? And what about the take away food, where did that go? There are many questions unanswered, but we were only concerned about getting our mates back to the studio... and the food.

Now, back to the adventures of the Amazon.
