Onga Bonga.
I'm reaaaaally bad at updating this site and for that, I beg for your forgiveness. The good news is that the album is coming along in a way that pleases my heart and my head. See, we've been working hard this last year, it's not true what they say. Two weeks in Sweden at Isitart, a nice little place in the woods. Thanx to Sjur for good company and barbeque etc..(Hey Sjur, can you send me the cd's I forgot? Libertines and Kasabian)
Borge having a soothing bath after not having done very much..
Sjur and Borge trying to find out what not to do next.
We've also done preprod at Feitaboogie, outside of Bergen, which also is a vibey place, although that session is a bit blurry for some reason. Think it must be because of the fact that that studio also had a bar. Great people though, and good fun.
This is the only picture I've got from that session.
Then we did six weeks with Jørgen Træen in Duper Studio, also in Bergen. I'm really happy with that session. Always a thrill to work with him. Great sound, great ideas... and great fiskegrateng.
Træen and his new desk. Many, many knobs.
Last December, I went with Borge, Hans Petter Heggli and Thomas Stenersen to the Strongroom in London to work with Ian Dowling for three weeks. The crap weather made us work harder and I'm very happy with what we did there. Thanx to Steve Lee for letting me use his guitars.
Ian and Mark Bishop at the Strongroom.
..and then... oh yeah, then we went to Cornwall for two weeks. A great studio by the sea called Sawmills. That was very relaxing, great food, good people, and a barking mad dog.
..and what else? That's it really.
Cornwall: Hellan getting the bird flu. Info movie directded by Stan Witmoore.
