30 November 05 - P3's host

On Friday 2 December, Morten will host P3's morning show (7:00-11:00).

Last Saturday, Morten did a gig with Stavanger brass band in his home town. The show received great reviews.

Earlier this month, Morten went to London to record 10 tracks in the Strongroom with producer Ian Dowling. He will return to London in February to finish the tracks.

19 September 05 - Miss you so

On "Artistgalla" (Saturday 17 September), Morten performed the new song "Miss you so" together with a string quartet, choir, double-bass, percussion and electric guitar.

Morten is currently recording in Bergen with Jørgen Træen and will continue recording in the Strongroom in London at the beginning of November.

"Detonate" has been released as the new single in Sweden.

10 September 05 - Plan on TV2

Morten has been working in a studio in Sweden. He will perform one of his new songs live on the "Plan" show "Artistgalla" (TV2, kl. 19.30) on Saturday 17 September. The planned gig in Reykjavik, Iceland on 19 October has been cancelled.

28 July 05 - Elvin Friendly

Morten will present the band "Elvin Friendly" at Tou Scene, Stavanger on Friday 29 July (22:00). Check out www.touscene.com

8 July 05 - Scandinavian success

Morten and his band delivered a good show at the Spot Festival in Aarhus, Denmark and they received a great review on the Danish radio station P3. The Danish single "Hard To Stay Awake" is currently on the P3 play list. An album release is expected for the autumn in Denmark.

The Swedish single "Our Love Is Deep" is getting airplay on Swedish radio. Morten and his band will perform at two shows in Sweden in August: 4th - The Cod, Strömstad, 5th - Göteborgskalaset, Göteborg.

27 April 05 - Live in Denmark

Morten will headline the programme on Friday, June 10th, at the Spot Festival, Århus. Spot Festival is the biggest music business event in Denmark and gathers a large audience and people in the music industry from all over the world. Together with his band, he'll play for 1 hour at Ridehuset from 00:30. There'll be a tight schedule, so be sure to get there in time for an outrageous show at a fully packed venue! 18 April 05 - Swedish promotion

On 11 May, Morten will release the album "Give Texas back to Mexico" in Sweden. The album is a collection of 11 songs (plus a hidden track). The first single will be "Our Love Is Deep". Morten will do a gig at O-baren, Sturehof in Stockholm on 19 May 2005 to coincide with the release of the album.

25 April 05 - From Rome to London

Morten spent a week in Rome, seeking to escape cultural and spiritual confinement. After overseeing the new pope Constantin in place, waiting with about half a million others for the white smoke, Morten went to London to meet producers and to check out studios for his next recording session.

14 March 05 - BadeRock Festivalen

Morten will headline at the BadeRock Festival in Sandefjord, Norway on 30 July 2005.

2 February 05 - River Amazon

Morten is planning a trip to the Amazon river in the search for the natural habitat of Altum Scalare. There, he will spend four weeks on the river Amazon.

2 February 05 - Piano Lessons

Swedish Professor Ingmar Berns is currently giving Morten piano lessons.

8 January 05 - Concert in Stavanger

Morten will take part in a concert in Stavanger which has been arranged in connection with the tsunami disaster in Asia. The concert will take place on 25 January 2005 and will feature other Norwegian artists besides Morten.

6 January 05 - En Ny Hverdag

On Friday 7 January 2005, Morten will be one of the artists performing on the action charity programme "En Ny Hverdag" (TV2, 20:00). This show has been organised to help raise money for the people in Asia after the tsunami. Morten performed "Don't Forget Me".
