Morten's new album will feature "open disc", allowing you access to a website with extra material. Morten is currently working on the video for his new single "Big Brother" which is due to be ready mid November.

21 October 06 - Some Of Us Will Make It
(updated 24 October)

Morten's new album "Some Of Us Will Make It" is due for release on 27 November. The first single "Big Brother" will premiere on Norwegian radio on Tuesday 24 October and will be released to the stores in a wallet sleeve on 13 November.

8 October 06 - the album is finished!

The album is finished and Morten has gone to Stockholm to master the album with Bjørn Engelmann. The album cover is being worked on by Morten and Per Heimly.

17 September 06 - Mixing
(updated 24 September)

Morten will move to Berlin for a while. Next week, he will remix three tracks with Michael Ilbert in Tritonus Tonstudio.

14 August 06 - Swim like a fish...

Morten's forthcoming album is due for release in Norway in November. He mixed 8 of the songs with Jørgen Træn in Bergen:

At the end of the month, Morten will go to Berlin to mix the remaining 6 songs with Michael Ilbert:

Morten will take his new band, Hans Petter Heggli (bass), Børge Fjordheim (drums), Bjorn Bunes (keyboards), Ove Storland (percussion) and Thomas Stenersen (guitar) to the Pulpit Rock Festival on 19 August. You may be lucky enough to hear the two new songs "Swim Like A Fish" and "Down and Out".

7 June 06 - MySpace

Visit Morten's MySpace where you can watch the video for "Our Love Is Deep".

It's "all sounding good" in London's Strongroom, according to Morten.

17 April 06 - More recording news

Morten will be working with Pascal Gabriel at Elektrolüd Studio in Stavanger in May. The Strongroom in east London is booked for June, when Morten will do the recording and mixing. Ian Dowling will work with Morten for this session.

3 February 06 - Recording

Morten will take his band to Cornwall's Sawmills Studio to record more tracks for his forthcoming album. The band joining him will be Børge Fjordheim (drums), Inge Helland (guitar), Hans Petter Heggli (bass) and Bjørn Bunes (keyboards). Morten will also work in his own Stavanger studio with Inge Riska.
